PCYC 2010 CRUISING CALENDAR

With the El Nino warmer water and warmer weather, I believe 2010 will present PCYC with a great year and excellent seas for coastal cruising.
Spontaneous Cruises - This year I want to seize the day, should good weather present itself we want to use that investment setting in the slip. If you want to be part of an excited group of boaters and use that boat, send me an email at skypilot08@aol.com and we will include you in the email list to be invited on these spur of the moment opportunities.
VENTURA CRUISE - February 19 - 21
A short trip, but another opportunity for adventure with your friends. Great prime rib dinner Friday night and don’t forget the Saturday BBQ. All PCYC members & guests are open to participate all weekend. Games across the street on the beach.
EASTER CRUISE - April 2 - 4 Will be to Santa Barbara Yacht Club and will be jointly chaired by Merv Breeze and Dewayne Weaver. Cruising, shopping, dining, dock breakfast and 1st mate Merv Breeze says we will have a challenging game.
MEMORIAL DAY CRUISE - May 28 - 31
To Marina Del Rey, chaired by Graham Wilson. The Friday night seafood buffet at Cal Yacht Club is not to be missed. Land cruisers should consider joining us this evening for a marvelous meal.
FATHER’S DAY CRUISE - June 18 - 20
To Santa Cruz Island chaired by Jack Schuler. Always a great cruise with games & cocktail parties for all.
INDEPENDENCE DAY CRUISE - July 2 - 4
Chaired by Rear Commodore Dan Citera. Dan & Kim have a reputation for putting on a great cruise. Don’t miss this wonderful summer opportunity.
CATALINA CRUISE - July 23 - 30
Chaired by Dewayne Weaver. This year may be the best yet. Catalina is now offering zip lines and helmet diving for the inexperienced, along with sand castles and a newly renovated & enhanced Descanso Beach Club. This cruise will be one to talk about. Land cruisers are welcome & encouraged. Don’t forget the miniature golf course. The guy to beat is the 1st mate. Poker with the V/C & more.
LABOR DAY CRUISE - September 3 - 5
To Santa Cruz. Surprise water activities, cocktail parties. A leisurely weekend just to unwind and enjoy calm seas and the Gentle Breeze’s. Our plan is to get off the beaten path & explore.
ALOMITAS CRUISE - September 24 - October 1
First ever! Chaired by Merv Breeze. Merv has surprises, dinners & murder on the high seas planned. Don’t miss this one.
Commodore's THANKSGIVING CRUISE - November 25 - 28
To Santa Barbara, the Mediterranean of the west coast, chaired by Art Warshaw. Art says this will be the best Thanksgiving cruise we have ever had.
