PCYC saw an increase of 50% turnout in the spinnaker class over prior year, even with the Mother's Day weekend. Conditions were good for racing with winds between 6 and 9 knots. All racers were treated to free appetizers upstairs at PCYC awards ceremony.

The new PCYC race software also calculates the "rating needed to win" for each boat as part of the post race handouts given to each skipper. While it's the subject of much friendly discussion, it doesn't create a change in the ratings.
